Care Instructions

At Isle of Mae, each piece is thoughtfully crafted with high-quality 14k gold-filled materials, designed to be both water-resistant and tarnish-resistant—made to accompany you through everyday elegance and special moments alike. While your jewellery is made to last, a little care goes a long way in preserving its timeless beauty. Here’s how to keep your pieces glowing for years to come:

Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Keep your jewellery away from chemicals such as chlorine, bleach, perfume, and hairspray. These substances can cause dullness or damage to the surface over time. Always put your jewellery on last—after your skincare, hair products, and perfume have settled.

Minimise Moisture Exposure: All pieces are 14k gold-filled jewellery, so they won't tarnish, but moisture exposure can cause dullness. It's advisable to take off your pieces before swimming, showering, or intense workouts. Prolonged moisture and sweat exposure can result in dull shine.

Store Separately: Always store your jewellery in a soft pouch or lined box, away from other metals. Storing pieces separately prevents scratching and cross-metal reactions that can cause discoloration.

Polish Weekly: Gently wipe your pieces with a soft, non-abrasive jewellery polishing cloth (provided) once a week to restore their natural glow. This helps remove any oils or dirt that may build up with daily wear.

Deep Clean Occasionally: For a deeper clean, soak your jewellery in warm water with a few drops of gentle dish soap. Use a soft toothbrush to lightly scrub any crevices. Rinse well and pat dry with a soft cloth.
